Austin, TX – Joanna Zeiger made a smashing comeback at the Longhorn event. She led from start-to-finish, proving she’s the best of the best in the 70.3 distance. Zeiger, who has been suffering with a season-interrupting bout of dizziness, is back in full force and was ready for a win. She finished the Longhorn Ironman 70.3 Austin by 2:14 over Heather Jackson in an impressive time of 4:14:53. Zeiger will attempt to defend her Ironman 70.3 World Championship title in Clearwater next month.
Additional TEAM AVIA athletes competing included: Tereza Macel (5th) and Terra Castro (10th).
