The rookie member of teamTBB won her second Ironman of 2010, leading wire-to-wire at Ironman Lake Placid. She had a race-best swim, extended her lead with a race-best bike and never looked back on the run. Her time of 9:27 gave her a near 17 minute cushion over second place. Amy also won Ironman China earlier in the year.

At the XTERRA Mountain Championships, she blew away the women’s field by nearly 8 minutes to collect her third XTERRA US Cup win and extended her points lead in the overall series. The women of MelRad Racing had a solid day, too, as Sara Tarkington scored a season-best 2nd place and Emma Garrard got on the podium with a fourth.
