The rookie member of teamTBB won her second Ironman of 2010, leading wire-to-wire at Ironman Lake Placid. She had a race-best swim, extended her lead with a race-best bike and never looked back on the run. Her time of 9:27 gave her a near 17 minute cushion over second place. Amy also won Ironman China earlier in the year.

Nico made the long trip over from Europe and stormed through the competition on the run for the close win. She opened up with a win in the time-trial, followed by a dominating win the cross country race, and closed the weekend with an easy victory in the circuit race.
