Angela began her athletic career as a runner with the Prince George Track and Field Club in her hometown in Canada. She fell in love with running after her first race at age 12. Her running took her to University of Missouri on a full scholarship, where she started swimming and biking for recovery. After graduating she began racing triathlons, competing on the ITU circuit and completing her first ½ Ironman at Sylvan Lake in 4:36- wow! Angela who earned her Masters in Physiotherapy, has put her career on hold while she chases the dream of becoming the 70.3 World Champion. Coached by Czechslovakian Chuckie V. (known for styling a mohawk throughout Ironman racing in the 90’s & the Solvang Cycling Camps), Angela can be found racing 70.3’s around the country including: Boise, Lake Stevens, Vineman, Timberman, Muskoska, Cancun, Longhorn, and the World Championships.
