About Tom Brunick
Tom Brunick, Director of the Avia Advanced Concepts at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, is considered one of the country's leading authorities on athletic footwear. He has 28 years experience in weartesting, research and development of athletic shoes.
Before coming to Avia, Brunick was Technical Advisor for Shape, Men's Fitness, Golf Digest and Footwear Editor for Runner's World and Walking Magazine. He continues as Footwear Editor for Tennis Magazine and the Bergmann Footwear Report. In addition, Tom has consulted the Chicago Bulls, Seattle Super Sonics, Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers, scanning pro athletes' feet and selecting athletic footwear to best meet needs.
